Full Stack Developer

TBA is an event ticketing platform for creators, with support for offer-based ticketing. As a Full Stack Developer on the team, I worked across UI design, landing page development, and core product features.

My largest contribution was the SMS marketing section, where creators run campaigns and are charged per token for each message sent, giving them a clear, usage-based way to reach their audience.

I also designed and built landing page experiences and product UI to help creators create events, price tickets, and manage their events.

Ethiopian Premier League - Football ticket booking platform.

Lead Developer · Full Stack

I led development of the official ticket booking platform for the Ethiopian Premier League, end to end, from the public site where fans browse matches and buy tickets, through the payment backend that powers every transaction.

The payments system has processed around 30 million birr to date, handling high-volume match-day demand with reliable checkout and confirmation flows.

Around the core product, I also built operational tools for customer ticket regeneration and Telegram bots for customer support, so fans can recover tickets and get help without waiting on a manual queue.

Built core product surfaces for a sports betting platform, live odds, bet slip flows, and account wallet management. Worked across the customer-facing app and internal tools used to manage markets, settlements, and risk.

Focused on fast, reliable bet placement during live events, with clear state for pending, won, and settled wagers. Also shipped admin views for ops teams to monitor exposure and resolve edge cases without engineering hand-holding.

Live markets & bet slip

Designed and built the live betting experience, real-time odds updates, accumulator logic, and a bet slip that stays in sync as users browse markets. The slip handles stake limits, combined odds, and validation before submission so users get immediate feedback instead of failed requests at checkout.

Wallet, settlement & ops

Implemented wallet deposits, withdrawals, and settlement flows tied to bet outcomes. Built internal dashboards for operations to review high-risk bets, void selections, and reconcile payouts, reducing turnaround on support tickets during busy match windows.

Top Water Company needed accountability for its marketing team, proof that reps were visiting agents and stores during working hours, not just reporting activity without evidence.

I built Top Force Field (TFF): a mobile app for registration and background location tracking, paired with an admin dashboard to review movements, distances traveled, and time-of-day coverage across morning, afternoon, and overtime windows.

The problem

Top Water Company is a leading bottled water enterprise in Ethiopia, known for high-quality products and state-of-the-art purification. Their marketing team is responsible for visiting agents and stores to report sales and promote the brand, but leadership had no concrete way to verify that work was happening during working hours. Without reliable field data, performance reviews relied on self-reporting. The company needed a system that could confirm where each rep went, how far they traveled, and whether visits aligned with expected routes and schedules.

The solution

Top Force Field tracks each marketing team member and analyzes recorded movements, including distance covered and locations visited. Admins can verify store and agent visits, compare activity across morning, afternoon, and overtime periods, and use that data for accountability and performance analysis. The system gives Top Water the visibility to optimize field operations and ensure the marketing team stays engaged where it matters for growth and market presence.

Mobile app: registration & tracking

Field reps register through the mobile app using a one-time password issued by an admin. After OTP verification, the app records location in the background and sends data to the server throughout the day, segmented into morning, afternoon, and overtime hours. Admins review new registration requests on the web dashboard and approve access before users can start tracking.

Admin site: user management & performance analysis

The admin dashboard handles login, user management, and OTP issuance for new field reps. Admins select an employee and date, load their location history, and review routes on a map, seeing where someone was at specific times and total kilometers traveled for that day. Timeline controls make it easy to scrub through a rep's day and validate field activity against expectations.
